On 17 December 2021, Australia and the United Kingdom (UK) signed the Australia-UK FTA. It has been ratified by Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Lao PDR, Malaysia, New Zealand, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. The CPTPP has been ratified by Australia, Canada, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam, however Brunei Darussalam and Chile have signed but are yet to ratify the agreement. These include bilateral agreements with Chile, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, Thailand and the United States, as well as four plurilateral agreements, the ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand Free Trade Area (AANZFTA), the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), the Pacific Agreement on Closer Economic Relations (PACER) Plus, and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP).
